                  Last year:  twenty two outstanding students were selected from Napa Valley College and American Canyon, Calistoga, Napa, St. Helena, Justin-Siena and Vintage High Schools to receive scholarships to college for the 2019 - 2020 school year from the Network.

Hispanic Network Scholarship Requirements 

The Napa County Hispanic Network is committed to helping exceptionally promising Latino students who have financial need. For over 36 years, NCHN has awarded over 500 first-generation Napa County Latino students.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Residents of Napa County and

  • Students of Latino heritage and

  • Low income and

  • First-Generation college bound high school graduating seniors or current college students (Napa Valley College students transferring to a four year college, students currently attending a four-year university or Trade/ Vocational School) and

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0* for high school graduates and 2.5 for returning college students

  • Graduating high school seniors who are otherwise qualified but have below a 3.0 GPA may still be eligible for a “Si Se Puede” Scholarship if they have overcome hardship. They should complete the application procedure as described below and should describe any special circumstances that apply.

  • Most recent academic transcript
